The American Freedom Defense Initiative is part of the Counterjihad movement.
According to the blogger Richard Bartholomew the AFDI 'was set up by' Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, Anders Gravers, Richard Davis, and John Joseph Jay.[1] Bartholomew also claims that the AFDI 'controls' a similar orgaisation called Stop Islamization of America also involving Geller, Spencer and Jay.[1]
