The Salisbury Review is a conservative magazine, which describes itself as "articulate, discriminating, reactionary, right-wing, judgemental, elitist."[1]
The magazine was founded in 1982 by the Salisbury Group, which was informally chaired by the Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, 6th Marquess of Salisbury. Roger Scruton was editor for the first 18 years.[2]
