The Hickory Foundation is a private grant=making organisation, established in 1997 in New York. It claims to give 'primarily for education, federated giving programs, and public affairs.' [1]
The Hickory Foundation according to IRS filings up to 2013 was one of the top funders of the anti-Muslim David Horowitz Freedom Center, with 15 grants totalling $148,000 up until 2013.[2]
