Formerly the Foundation for Partnerships Trust, the Edgerly Foundation is a charitable organisation based in Chicago, Illinois.
Contents
Purpose
Its stated purpose and activities are 'giving primarily for education and community development', but its interests also include 'foreign policy' and 'legal services'. [1]
Grants
The foundation funds several counterjihad organisations, most notably the Middle East Forum. Between 2000 and 2009 it gave MEF $75,000 in grants,[2] , and from 2009 to 2015, a total of USD $180,000. [3]>
Smaller sums have been given to other organisations, including the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
The Foundation's latest financial records show it brings in $540,052 in annual income.

The foundation has trustees but no staff. They are:
- William P Lawrence
- William S Edgerly, who also founded the Foundation for Partnerships Trust and is the former CEO of State Street Bank [10]. He has deep ties to the charter school movement since he was a board member of the Pioneer Institute, and his second foundation is revealed to have funded the Freedom Foundation [11].
