Career
Rahman spent seven years, between 2000 and 2007, as assistant political secretary to Tony Blair at 10 Downing Street. In 2005 he also missed out on being selected as the Labour candidate for the seat of Brent South.
He was then appointed deputy managing director of APCO Worldwide. In 2011, he left APCO to set up Centreground Political Communications with former co-worker at 10 Downing Street and APCO, Darren Murphy.[1]
In 2014 Centreground Political Communications was bought by Bell Pottinger Communications, and Rahman became managing director of Bell Pottinger Political.[2]
