Susan Rice, became Chief Executive of Lloyds TSB Scotland in August 2000, the first woman to head a UK clearing bank.
She was previously Managing Director, Personal Banking at Bank of Scotland, and at Natwest Bancorp in the U.S. She was a member of HM Treasury’s Policy Action Team on access to financial services.
