The Financial Services Strategy Group, set up in March 2005, is a joint industry-government strategy for financial services in Scotland.

- Margaret Wallace - Morgan Stanley
- Willie Watt - Martin Currie
- Sandy Boyle - Amicus
- Graeme Dickson - Scottish Executive
- Jim McFarlane - Scottish Enterprise
- Martin Togneri - Scottish Development International
- HM Treasury observer
- Ian Ferguson - Norwich Union
John Campbell states that:
"The Financial Services Strategy Group has successfully aligned the interests of the industry and government in Scotland" and that "A strong relationship between government and the industry founded on mutual understanding and shared goals is key to ensuring the ongoing success of the financial services industry in Scotland. We look forward to continuing to work with the Scottish Executive as part of the new Financial Services Advisory Board and Implementation Group to improve the business environment Scotland provides for financial services companies."
