The Kurdistan Region in Iraq All-Party Parliamentary Group aims to:
- promote friendship and understanding between the people of the Kurdistan Region in Iraq and Great Britain and to encourage the development of democratic institutions in the Kurdistan Region as part of the democratic and federal process in the rest of Iraq. [1]

Pre-2015
Funding
Parliamentary adviser Gary Kent is paid directly by Gulf Keystone Petroleum International Ltd to provide secretariat services for the group. The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) UK Representation provides additional administrative services, occasional dinners for parliamentarians and organises an annual reception in conjunction with the group. The KRG and KRG UK also fund group delegations to the Kurdistan Region.[1]
Parliamentary pass
Gary Kent, Parliamentary Adviser to the Kurdistan Regional Government UK, holds a parliamentary pass.[1]
