Admiral Sir John Slater, (born 1938) is a former first sea lord who left the military in 1998. Two years later he was appointed a director and senior adviser to arms firm Lockheed Martin UK[1] from 10 May 2000 until 1 November 2008. [2]
He also was a non-executive director of US arms firm VT Group.
