Andrew Bagnall is a former special adviser to the Labour Government. Bagnall spent a number of years working for the Labour Party, he worked as the head of party networks helping David Miliband and Labour with his leadership campaign. Bagnall also carried out a few special advisory roles, working for the Ministry of Defence, the Department for Communities and Local Government and the Cabinet Office. [1]
From SPAD to Lobbyist
Following his time working for the Labour Party, Bagnall went on to work at the CBI, filling a number of different roles, ranging from director of campaigns to head of public service reform. He is currently their director of campaigns and governance. The CBI is one of the UK's premier business lobbying organisations that looks to provide a voice for employers at a national and international level. [2]
Education
Studied at the London School of Economics, gaining an M.A in History of International Relations, as well as obtaining a B.A. in Political Studies and International History from the University of Leeds. [1]
