Dr Thomas Blau is the Director of the National Security and Process Department of the College of International Security Affairs at the National Defense University in Washington D.C.[1]
Blau studied political science and economics at the University of Chicago, where he earned a Ph.D.[2]
He was appointed a professor at the College of International Security Affairs in spring 2001.[3]
Envoy Group
As of 2002, Blau was President of the Envoy Group, a role in which he helped "aerospace and high technology companies enter new markets and develop new business."[4] As of December 2002, according to the company's website, he had been replaced as President by Christine Brim, becoming Research Director instead.[5]
