Social Justice Scotland (SJS), was a short-lived Conservative Party linked think tank created in August 2009 and closed down in December 2009-January 2010. By mid-February 2010 it was in the process of relaunching as the Social Justice Foundation.

Company background
SJS began when a private limited company called the Centre for Social Justice Scotland Limited was incorporated on 2 July 2009 with Glasgow-based Heather MacLeod as a director.[3][4] The name was changed to Social Justice Scotland on 13 August 2009.[5] On 31 August 2009 the company appointed a company secretary, the Gloucestershire-based finance director Anthony Nares.[6]

Fiona Houston (appointed 31 August 2009[8], terminated, 15 December 2009[9]); Malcolm Offord, (appointed 31 August 2009[10], terminated, 13 December 2009[11]); Malcolm Scott, (appointed 31 August 2009[12], terminated 4 January 2010[13]).

Conservative links
Most of those associated with the think tank were prospective candidates or other activists for the Conservative Party.
