ISAS provides a list of its previous conferences on its website, which states that its first conference was an 'International Seminar on Aviation Security' held February 5-9, 1989.[3] This seems to have been held on behalf of the Israel Ministry of Transportation/El Al, International at the Center for Special Studies in Memory of the Fallen of Israel's Intelligence Community (Also known by its shortened name of the Center for Special Studies).
