Background

History

Security and Terrorism conferences

ISAS provides a list of its previous conferences on its website, which states that its first conference was an 'International Seminar on Aviation Security' held February 5-9, 1989.[3] This seems to have been held on behalf of the Israel Ministry of Transportation/El Al, International at the Center for Special Studies in Memory of the Fallen of Israel's Intelligence Community (Also known by its shortened name of the Center for Special Studies). A 'What's on' guide in the magazine Flight International (21 January 1989) lists an event at the 'Center for Special Studies in Memory of the Fallen of Israel's Intelligence Community, Gelilot, North Tel Aviv, Israel.
