*1909 - January - A general meeting of the [[Michael Simons Lodge, No. 128, Order Achei Brith]], was held in the [[Herzl Zionist Institute]], last Sunday, Bro. [[Sol A. Cohen]], President, in the Chair. Bro. [[L Mostytz]], representative at Grand Lodge, gave a report of the proceedings of the Grand Lodge Conference held in Birmingham last December, and was accorded a vote of thanks for his services. The annual financial statement was submitted by the Treasurer, Bro.[[ B. Gerber]]. It showed income £89, expenditure £54, capital $180; and membership 48. Bros. [[L Mostytz]] and [[H Herman]], Auditors, having given avery satisfactory report, the balance-sheet was unanimously adopted. the following officers were installed: Bros [[L Mostytz]], President; [[S. Goldblatt]], Treasurer; [[M. Melliock]], Secretary; [[V. Bernfell]], Recording Secretary; [[H. Kale]], [[M. Gold]] and [[I. Medvidoff]], Trustees; [[B Katz]], Inside Guardian; [[I Firestein]] and [[G Venetsky]], Sick Stewards and Marshalls; [[M.Abrahamson]] and [[A.J.
