Chris Wilkins is a special adviser to prime minister Theresa May and director of strategy at Number 10, appointed in September 2016. [1]

As of December 2016, he has an annual salary of £120,000. [2]

He was formerly a special adviser to Nicky Morgan at the Department for Education from July 2014 to May 2015. Wilkins was the former policy adviser and speech writer to the last two Conservative leaders, and was assistant campaign director to the Conservatives election guru Lynton Crosby in 2005. [3]
