Ben Abbotts is a UK lobbyist at Westbourne Communications and a former Liberal Democrats parliamentary candidate.

He has worked for businesses such as IKEA as well as membership organisations such as Association of Convenience Stores and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors typically on parliamentary communications campaigns and influencing public policy. His background is in corporate communications and politics. He is an elected local councillor and has been a Parliamentary candidate. He is currently a political adviser to the Isle of Man Chief Minister and Treasury Minister on political and regulatory issues and the principal political adviser to the Employers Forum on Age which campaigns to scrap the default retirement age. He also stood in Bromley and Chislehurst in the 2006 by-election, losing to the Conservative's Bob Neill by under 3% of the vote.[2]
Abotts worked in the party headquarters in the 2010 general election and is a member of the Lib Dem communications advisory board.[3]
