Ellwood and Atfield is a head hunting firm for the lobbying industry and a participant in debates about lobbying transparency. It is opposed to binding regulation of lobbyists.

In November 2014 the public affairs headhunters decided to boost their ranks with five new hires in response to "significant buoyancy in the market". The firm has brought in former Conservative aide Carol Freeman as a consultant in its public affairs and policy team. Freeman previously worked as a senior parliamentary assistant to Tory MP Geoffrey Cox and has also been a parliamentary assistant to work and pensions secretary Iain Duncan Smith. [1]
