Claire Foges is speechwriter to David Cameron.
Background
Foges has a Master's degree in Poetry and went on to work in the Westminster office of John Hayes MP in 2006. She moved on to work full-time on Boris Johnson’s mayoral campaign. [1] She began working for Cameron in 2008 and drafted his much anticipated speech on Europe in January 2013. Foges went to a comprehensive school, gaining a First in English at Southampton University before studying for her Masters in Poetry at Bristol. [2]
