Shabnum Mustapha
Shabnum Mustapha was a special adviser to former deputy prime minister Nick Clegg. [1]
Background
Mustapha was a director at Amnesty International UK in Scotland in 2011, in charge of overseeing the policy, government relations, media relations, digital media and web, campaigns, stakeholder engagement, human rights education and outreach functions.[1] She was also the director for coalition for racial equality and rights in 2011.
In 2010 Mustapha was appointed vice-convener for the Scottish Liberal Democrats, a role she held until 2012.
She worked as convener for the Conference Committee for the Scottish Liberal Democrats, where she oversaw the organisation of the Party's spring and autumn conferences. Between 2008 and 2011, Mustapha worked as a communications and campaigns manager at Action on Hearing Loss From 2006 until 2008 she worked as a policy and public affairs coordinator at Oxfam. [1]
