Save the Children Fund (Save The Children Fund, Companies House number 00178159) was a supplier on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's 2015 Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) framework. Companies House records it as incorporated on 1 December 1921, status "Active", nature of business "88990 - Other social work activities without accommodation not elsewhere classified", with registered office at 1 St. John's Lane, London, EC1M 4AR.[1][2] FCO and FCDO payments to it over £25,000 recorded in published departmental spending data total about £39,079,705; these figures cover all FCO/FCDO (and, after September 2020, former Department for International Development) programmes and are not limited to the CSSF.[3]

CSSF and other UK government work

A 2016 FCO expression-of-interest document for a CSSF "MENA Strategic Comms: Countering DAESH Propaganda" call-off lists The Save the Children Fund among the suppliers on the CSSF Lot 2 framework. The document was published online in 2020 among files that the hacker group Anonymous said came from the FCO. (On the later 2023–27 framework, the names of Lot 2 suppliers were redacted on national-security grounds.)[4] Tussell's supplier list for the FCO's 2015 CSSF framework, which is based on the official award notice, independently records Save The Children Fund as a supplier.[5] No specific CSSF call-off to Save the Children was identified in public sources during this research. The payments below combine Save the Children UK and Save the Children International entries. The large sums from 2020 reflect the merger of DFID into the FCDO and are not CSSF-specific.
