Birth and marriage
The ScotlandsPeople index of statutory births records the birth of a Samuel Kingsley, male, in 1954 in the registration district of Pollok, Glasgow, which is consistent with the April 1954 birth date that Companies House gives for him.[9][1] The index of statutory marriages records the marriage of Samuel Kingsley and Carolyn Anne Groden in 1987 in the registration district of Eastwood and Mearns.[10] A Carolyn Anne Kingsley, born October 1967, has been a director of Broomcroft Limited since 14 November 2016.[4]
UJIA Scotland
In October 2002 a UJIA Scotland announcement of its Glasgow annual dinner on 26 October 2002, with the former Israel Defense Forces chief of staff Shaul Mofaz as guest of honour, quoted "UJIA Scotland Campaign Chairman Sam Kingsley".[3]
Glasgow Jewish Community Trust
Kingsley is one of eight trustees of the Glasgow Jewish Community Trust listed on the Scottish Charity Register in October 2026,[11] and is named among the trust's trustees in April 2024 in Ken Smith's history of the trust, More Than a Helping Hand (2024).[12] As "Samuel Kinglsey" he is listed as a member of the trust's Finance Committee in a standard security over 222 Fenwick Road, Giffnock, G46 6UE recorded on 18 March 2016.[13]
