SNV Netherlands Development Organisation is a contractor to the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) under the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF). It is a named supplier on Lot 1 of the CSSF Framework Agreement 2023–27.[1] FCO and FCDO payments to it over £25,000 recorded in published departmental spending data total about £35,330,910; these figures cover all FCO/FCDO (and, after September 2020, former Department for International Development) programmes and are not limited to the CSSF.[2]
CSSF and other UK government work
SNV implements BRILHO, which it describes as "a five-year programme (2019-2024), funded by the British Government's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)" to expand off-grid clean energy in Mozambique. SNV says BRILHO offers companies grants and results-based finance of up to £1.5 million each. It says the programme aims to give 1.5 million Mozambicans and 15,000 local businesses access to off-grid energy by the end of 2024.[3] DevTracker also lists SNV as the implementing organisation of the FCDO's Vietnam Business Challenge Fund.[4] No CSSF-specific SNV programme was identified in public sources during this research; the payments below appear to relate mainly to former DFID development programmes.
