Raymond Borrow

Dr Ray Borrow is the Head of Vaccine Evaluation Department at the Manchester Medical Microbiology Partnership. He is a member of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI). Borrow has occasionally served as a member on expert panels for Baxter Bioscience; GlaxoSmithKline (GSK); Novartis; Sanofi Pasteur; and Wyeth and has served on the medical-scientific advisory panel for the Meningitis Trust and Meningitis Research Foundation.GSK, Sanofi Pasteur, Novartis and Wyeth have paid for his travel to attend scientific organised meetings organised by them. He has conducted biochemical tests (immunossays) for: Merck for its HPV vaccine; Wyeth, Emergent BioSolutions, Novartis, Baxter Biosciences, Sanofi Pasteur MSD, GSK and Merck for Neisseria meningitidis.
