Ralph Tabberer

Ralph Tabberer is the owner and chairman of BBD Education.
He has worked in many roles affecting education and schools, including National Foundation for Educational Research, Department for Children, Schools and Families and GEMS Education.

Career
Between 1994 and 1997 Tabberer was deputy director of National Foundation for Educational Research.[1]
He was then appointed senior education adviser at the Department for Education and Skills.[1]
In 2000 he was appointed chief executive of Teacher Training Agency, and then Training and Development Agency for Schools in 2005.[1]
In March 2006 he was appointed director general of schools to the Department for Children, Schools and Families.[1]
In April 2009 he was appointed chief education officer and COO of GEMS Education. In 2012 he was appointed a consultant to Large, where he "worked for investors and publishers looking for Middle Eastern and global opportunities, for governments seeking reform, and for schools seeking to make their provision 'better, broader and deeper'."[1]
He is now the owner and chairman of BBD Education.[1]
