Controversies and conflicts

  • Knightland Foundation inquiry: Companies House records Raechel Friedman as a director of The Knightland Foundation from 18 February 2011 to 21 December 2017. The inquiry report's "former trustees" include a trustee in post from 15 April 2011 to 21 December 2017, and the Tribunal's decision records that a former trustee resigned in 2017 after the Commission's action plan. The Charity Commission's inquiry report (15 November 2024) concluded that there had been "serious mismanagement in the administration of the charity by the former trustees over an extended period of time", including failures to identify and manage conflicts of interest and to keep adequate records. It found no misapplication of funds and no ultimate loss to the charity.[5][6] The report records that this trustee resigned in 2017, before the later transactions it examined.
