Nick Hopkinson is a former senior officer at GCHQ. After leaving government he joined Computer Science Commission and Northrop Grunman.

Career

Hopkinson was chief information officer at GCHQ between February 2004 and February 2008, when he became director general information security.[1]

In August 2010 he was appointed director of cyber security in the Europe, Middle East and Asia at Computer Science Commission.[1] The role was approved by ACOBA "subject to a waiting period of 6 months from his last day of service and the condition that, for 12 months from the same date, he should not become personally involved in lobbying UK Government Ministers or Crown servants, including Special Advisers, on behalf of his new employer".[2]

In August 2014 he became UK strategy director at aerospace and defence technology company Northrop Grumman.[1]
