Mike Weatherley
Mike Weatherley was the Conservative Party Member of Parliament (MP) for Hove from 2010 to 2015.[1]
Weatherley is a former finance director of the Pete Waterman Group, and a former vice-president for Europe at the Motion Picture Licensing Company. In September 2013, he was appointed as the Prime Minister’s adviser on intellectual property.[2]
Weatherley decided not to stand at the 2015 general election after struggling with his health.[3] He was replaced by Graham Cox who lost the seat to the Labour Party's Peter Kyle by 1,236 votes.[4]
Donations
In October 2013 Weatherley received £10,000 from investment banker Stewart Newton. His constituency has received many over donations from Newton.[5]
