Career
Whilst at university, Dowsett was the vice-chairman of Southampton Univeristy Conservative Association.
After university, he was a public affairs intern at New Century Media in April 2011, a parliamentary intern at The House of Commons between October 2011 and December 2011, and a public affairs intern at Cohn & Wolfe from October 2012 to March 2013.
In April 2013, helped by meeting with Newgate managing director Simon Nayyar during their Conservative Party campaigning, he became an associate at Newgate Communications until August 2014.
In August 2014, Dowsett was a campaign fellow for Ed Gillespie who was running for U.S. Senate in Virginia.
He has been campaign manager at Business for Britain and deputy chairman for membership for Bermondsey and Old Southwark Conservative Association Conservative Party since September 2014.[1]
