Mavis McDonald

Dame Mavis McDonald is a former civil servant and is now a member of the council at the University of Cambridge and a trustee of the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.
Career
McDonald has worked in the civil service since graduating from university, 1966-2005. Most notably she was permanent secretary at the Cabinet Office from 2000 to 2002 and permanent secretary at the office of the deputy Prime Minister (John Prescott) until 2005.[1]
