Matthew Vaughn is an English film producer and owner of Marv Films.

Career

Vaughn has produced hit films such as Harry Brown, Layer Cake and Lock, Snatch, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.[1]

Politics

Conservative fundraising committee

Vaughn has served on the committee of the Conservative Party fundraising ball, other members include; wife of Swiss banker Henry Angest, Dorothy Angest; wife of investment banked Rory Brooks, Elizabeth Brooks, wife of stockbroker Peter Cruddas, Fiona Cruddas and TV personality Trinny Woodall.[2]

Dining at Chequers

In October 2014 Vaughn and his wife, model Claudia Schiffer, dined with David Cameron at Chequers.[3]

Letter to the Telegraph

On 1 April 2015 Vaughn was one of 103 business leaders who wrote to the Telegraph praising the British Conservative Party's economic policies and claiming a Labour government would 'threaten jobs and deter investment' in the UK.[4]
