M Charitable Trust is a Scottish charity, number SC036416, constituted as a trust and on the Scottish Charity Register from 6 April 2005. The register gives its address as 65 Bath Street, First Floor Right, Glasgow G2 2BX, and its objects as "The relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the advancement of religion, the advancement of animal welfare and any purposes expressly charitable in nature and beneficial to the community at large". It describes its activity as to "Give money to good causes within the definition of the charity's purposes".[1] Its website carries the strapline "Helping To Relieve Human & Animal Suffering".[2]
Loan to Wide Choice Limited
The trust's accounts for the year ended 31 March 2026 state: "Included in debtors is a sum of £509,450 advanced to Wide Choice Limited, a company in which one of the Trustees is a director and shareholder." The same figure appears for the previous year. The accounts also say that no donations were made to charities during the year, "but donations will be made in the 2026/27 financial year". Donations received were £1,320 and interest received £1,156.[3]
Companies House lists WIDE CHOICE LIMITED (SC053383), incorporated on 15 June 1973, as in liquidation. A special resolution to wind the company up was passed on 21 April 2026, and its registered office was changed on 23 April 2026 from C/O D.M. McNaught & Co. Ltd, 166 Buchanan Street, Glasgow G1 2LW to C/O Quantuma Advisory Ltd, Third Floor Turnberry House, 175 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 2LB.[4] Its current directors are David Levitus and Susan Levitus, both appointed on 10 December 2022, with a correspondence address at 65 Bath Street, 1st Floor Right, Glasgow G2 2BX, the trust's address.[5] Susan Adele Levitus appears at Companies House as Susan Adele Cummings on her appointments as secretary and director of Bridging Loans Direct Ltd (SC109908) from 17 March 1988,[6] and as Susan Adele Levitus on later appointments, including as a director of Residential Loans Ltd. (03612626) from 15 November 2004.[7] Scottish marriage records index a marriage of David Clive Levitus and Susan Adele Cummings in 1993;[8] Levitus is presumably her married name.
