Ken Paul
Ken Paul was deputy governor for the Scottish Prison Service at HMP Shotts and has gone on to work for several private companies (Premier, Serco and G4S in senior positions at prisons and detention centres in the UK and Australia.[1]

Scottish Prison Service - HMP Shotts
Paul held various posts at HMP Shotts between 1992 and 1998, rising to deputy governor. He says he "played a key part in developing and implementing a regime plan, which gave HMP Shotts an unprecedented period of stability that lasted almost ten years".
Premier - HMP Kilmarnock
He was Deputy Director and Head of Custody for Premier Prison Services at HMP Kilmarnock from 1998 to 2004, with "operational responsibility" for "opening Scotland's first privately operated prison".

Paul was Centre manager for Serco at Dungavel IRC from 2004 to 2005.
Colnbrook IRC
In 2005 Paul was Centre Manager for Serco at Colnbrook IRC.
Australia
Also in 2005, Paul was a Bid Director for Serco in Australia where he helped the company win a contract for Acacia Prison, "that had been formerly operated by the Aims Corporation".
HMP Kilmarnock
Paul was interim Director for Serco at HMP Kilmarnock during the first quarter of 2006.
G4S
Dungavel IRC
Paul was Centre manager for G4S at Dungavel IRC from 2006 to 2011.
Scotland
He was Operations director (Scotland) for G4S Care & Justice from September 2011.
