- Ita Golombok (born, Jan 18 1852 - Birzai, Lithuania, died, 1931 at age 77 in Govanhill, nee Fierst/Furst). Mother's maiden name Pincowitz.[1]
Date of birth
There appears to be some dubiety about her date of birth. Family trees constructed by family members give either 18 January 1852 or the year 1957. Her death certificate in 1931 states she was 77 at death which would put her birth date around 1854.

Ita Golombok was the widow of Benjamin Joseph Golombok, Printers assistant. She died on 11 March 1931 at 5am at 45 Dixon Avenue, Glasgow (usual residence 58 Kingswood Drive, Glasgow), 77 years old. Father Lazarus Furst, Merchant (deceased), Mother Etta Furst (nee Pincowitz) (deceased). Cause of death was Brights disease, 6 months, heart failure as certified by M Teitelmann. the certificate was signed by Wolf Golombok her son of 58 Kingswood Drive, Glasgow.
