Zentralverband der Deutschen Werbewirtschaft

The German Advertising Association or in German: Zentralverband der Deutschen Werbewirtschaft (ZAW) was founded in 1949, the organisation is fairly unusual as it unites all of the various groups operating within advertising within one single organisation.
Members are not individual companies but the various organisations that represent advertisers or those who develop, design, carry out and arrange advertising. The 40 organisations which make up the ZAW today are subdivided into the following four areas: Advertisers (9), Agencies (1), Media and production companies (23), Professionals as well as market and social research (7).
