Friends of Karlin Stolin is a UK registered charity (no. 327970). According to the website of the UK Charity Commission the objectives of the charity are:

TO ADVANCE EDUCATION IN AND THE RELIGION OF THE ORTHODOX JEWISH FAITH. TO SUPPORT FINANCIALLY AND OTHERWISE THE KARLIN-STOLIN SCHOOL AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN ISRAEL.[1]

However, Karlin Stolin institutions are located in the illegal Israeli settlements of Ramot Alon, [2] [3] Beitar Illit,[4] [5] and the leader of Karlin Stolin, Rabbi Baruch Meir Yaakov Shochet, resides in the Israeli settlement of Givat Ze'ev, near Jerusalem.[6] [7]

The organisation became a registered charity in 1998.[1]
