• 1934 - At the close of the business of the meeting a hat night was held by the Literary Section of the Auxiliary. A debate has been arranged for Monday, 29th October, the subject to be ‘‘Should Palestine be Solely for Jews?' The affirmative will be led off by Mr. Berkley and Mrs. E. Shinwell will lead for the negative. All wishing to join the Auxiliary are invited to attend the meetings held at the Orphanage, Sinclair . Drive, every Monday evening at 8.30.
