Eleanor Wilcox is a former special adviser to the UK Labour Party. Until December 2014, she was associate director at Edelman, the largest independently owned PR and lobbying company with 46 offices and 50 affiliates worldwide. She is now listed as a staff member for Cohn and Wolfe as of February 2016. [1]
Background
Wilcox has worked at Edelman since 2012, but prior to this she was communications adviser to the Government of Rwanda as part of the Africa Governance Initiative in 2010. [2]
She worked as a special adviser to the Department for Work and Pensions in 2009 for a year. She had previously worked as a special adviser to the HM Treasury. [2]
Wilcox has a background in the broadcast media, firstly as news producer at the BBC, then as a deputy executive producer at Sky News. [2]
