Ehud Yatom
Ehud Yatom is a former Shin Bet officer. He was the senior Shin Bet officer at the scene when two captured Palestinian hijackers were killed in cold blood in 1984, sparking the Bus 300 Affair. He admitted to his role at the time of his retirement from Shin Bet in 1996. Yatom told Yediot Ahoronot he had received an order from Avraham Shalom to kill them, 'So I killed them with a big rock. I bashed their skulls. Believe me, it wasn't too much of an effort.'[1]
During his career, Yatom headed Shin Bet's operations, administration and protection branches.[1]
Yatom served as a member of the Knesset for Likud from 2003 to 2006.[2]
