Drew Hendry
Drew Hendry is the Scottish National Party (SNP) MP for Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch & Strathspey having won the seat in the 2015 general election in May. [1] The constituency was previously held by Danny Alexander the Liberal Democrats MP. Prior to the election The Press and Journal reported that the SNP Highland Council leader Hendry was 'considered the front-runner' in the 2015 general election. [2]
Hendry defeated Alexander, who had previously held the seat since 2005, by gaining 50 per cent of the vote share and a majority of 10,809. [3]
