David Wright (Barclays)
Wright earned a degree in History from Peterhouse College, Cambridge.
Wright joined the the Diplomatic Service in 1966. During his career, he worked as Private Secretary to the UK's Cabinet Secretary and also as Private Secretary to HRH The Prince of Wales. He held the positions of British Ambassador in Korea (1990-1994) and Japan (1996-1999). He was Chief Executive of British Trade International (BTI) from 1999 to 2002.
