Almeida began working for lobbyists Burson Marsteller in 1993 in the healthcare PR division.
In 1995 she joined Interscience London and New York as a PR specialist.
She then joined the communications department of Chandler Chicco Agency in 1998.
In 2000 she joined pharma company Bristol-Myers Squibb.
She has been senior director of communications, EMEA, at Johnson & Johnson in 2009.[1]
