Biotech Australia
Biotech Australia was described in 2003 as a private biotechnology research and development company.[1] It is likely to be the same company as Biotechnology Australia Pty Ltd, based in Roseville, New South Wales, Australia. Biotechnology Australia Pty Ltd was in existence in 1988.[2] It was involved in "immunology, biological chemistry, applied microbiology, entomology, bioengineering as well as recombinant DNA techniques".[3]
A list of patents assigned to Biotechnology Australia Pty Ltd is available but there are no more recent ones than 2001,[4] suggesting that the company is no longer in operation. On 11 January 2007 the trademark for Biotechnology Australia Pty Ltd was removed from the register of Australian trademarks.[5]
