BillGuard was a consumer financial-security app that flagged unauthorised charges for its users. Globes reported that it was "founded in 2010 by Yaron Samid and Raphael Ouzan", had 1.3 million registered users, and was sold to Prosper Marketplace in September 2015. The headline put the price at $40–50 million.[1]

In a 2021 investigation into Israel's surveillance talent pipeline, Rest of World described co-founder Raphael Ouzan as "a paragon of Israel’s 8200-to-tech pipeline". It reported that "After his five years in 8200, Ouzan built a financial security app called BillGuard", which it said was later "acquired for $30 million". The same article said Ouzan went on to create "his own elite feeder program".[2] The two sources give different sale prices.
