Barry Charles Berlow-Jackson is a Scottish solicitor specialising in personal injury and civil litigation. He is Vice-President of the Glasgow Jewish Representative Council.[1]
Barry Berlow-Jackson has held senior legal roles at Digby Brown Solicitors and Walker Laird Solicitors. Since March 2025 he has been Principal Solicitor and owner of Berlow-Jackson Law (Scotlegal Ltd).[2][3]
Family
Berlow-Jackson married Miriam Philippa Berlow-Jackson (b 1973, nee Berlow[4]) Married Barry Charles Berlow-Jackson in 2004 registered at Martha Street, Glasgow[5] thus marrying into the Berlow family of prominent Glasgow Zionists and making him the brother-in-law of Matthew Berlow.
Early life and education
Barry Berlow-Jackson attended Hutchesons' Grammar School (1987–1993). He studied at the University of Strathclyde, earning a BA (Hons) in Business Law (1993–1997), where he chaired the Jewish Student Society (Glasgow J-Soc) and served as treasurer of Northern Region UJS. He later completed an LLB (2006–2008) and PG Dip LP (2008–2009).[1]
Legal career
Barry Berlow-Jackson began in personal finance at RBS/Tesco Personal Finance (1997–2000). He worked in policy and research at SCoJeC (2000–2003) and Victim Support Scotland (2003–2006) before qualifying as a solicitor.

Zionist and Jewish communal involvement
Barry Berlow-Jackson has been active in Jewish communal and Ziopnist groups since university. He is Vice-President and former Treasurer of the Glasgow Jewish Representative Council.[1] His firm Berlow-Jackson Law is based at Top Floor, 222 Fenwick Road, Giffnock, Glasgow G46 6UE – the headquarters of the Scottish Zionist movement and Glasgow Jewish Community Centre.[2][6] He previously chaired the Parent Council of Calderwood Lodge (Scotland’s only Jewish primary school) from 2018 to 2020.[7]
Personal life
Barry Berlow-Jackson is a smallholder living on a farm with his wife and children. He serves as a Community Councillor and acting chair of his local Community Council.[1]
