In the news
- In September 2019 the Ham & High reported that around 30,000 UK companies had been set up in the name of Barbara Kahan, then 88, who worked for the formation agent A1 Company Services (founded by her son Keith) at 788–790 Finchley Road. Her name was used as 'initial director', resigning once a company was sold, with no involvement in its later business. The paper reported that some companies formed through agents at that address were later used by fraudsters, including binary-options firms that were subject to FCA warnings.[3]
