Alistair Thompson
Alistair Thompson is the Managing Director of Media Intelligence Partners.[1]
Thompson has worked with Phillip Blond, the Centre for Social Justice, Care Not Killing, Addaction and Coalition for Marriage. He organised the launch of the Reform Section 5 Campaign.[1]
Career
Thompson began his career as a journalist in Portsmouth.[1]
He later worked as the PR and Marketing Coordinator at the Jubilee Sailing Trust, which worked on sailing for physically disabled and able bodied adults.[1]
He joined Media Intelligence Partners in 2007.[1]
Political Career
Thompson stood for Parliament in the West Bromwich East constituency in the 2010 general election.[1]
He is a Conservative councillor for Hilsea Ward in the City of Portsmouth, winning elections in 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007 and 2011. In the past he has been the Conservative Spokesman for Education, Children & Families and Education.[1]
