Will McDonald is a former special adviser to Yvette Cooper. Cooper has been the Member of Parliament for Normanton, Pontefract and Castleford since 2010, having previously been the MP for Pontefract and Castleford since 1997. He worked for Cooper in various departments, ranging from the Department for Work and Pensions, the HM Treasury to the Department of Communities and Local Government from 2007 to 2010. [1]
