Weber Shandwick Adamson started out as Adamson Associates run by one of the most experienced lobbyists in Brussels Paul Adamson. Adamson sold the firm to BSMG to become Adamson BSMG. The firm was owned by Weber Shandwick Worldwide. In 2003 Adamson left WSAdamson to concentrate on a new elite Euro Zone magazine titled E! Sharp (PR Week, 18 July 2003), at which point Adamson's name was dropped from the agency's title.
