Uzi Berger is a retired Shin Bet officer and Israeli police major-general. During his Shin Bet career he served as head of the Operations Division. He retired from the Shin Bet in around 1985. He subsequently served as head of the Israel Police Intelligence Department and Investigations Division. He served as chairman of the internal Shin Bet committee appointed to report on the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin in 1995.[1]
